Terms and Conditions of Contract

These general conditions regulate the contracting of the consignments of Menorca Lockers, S.L., company NIF B75824714, and registered office in C / Sant Isidre, 41, for its establishment located in Passeig Portixol, Local Shopping Center "Edificio La Plaza" 0, 07769 Cala’n Bosch, Ciutadella-Menorca.

These conditions regulate the contractual relationship between Menorca Lockers and the User who contracts the locker service.

1. Our Lockers

Menorca Lockers offers its users the possibility of renting any of their lockers for 24 hours every day. We have a total of 29 lockers, in different sizes and prices (VAT included):

• M size lockers: 58x47,4x36 cm – €5.95/day

• L size lockers: 58x47.4x46.20 cm – €8.95/day

• XL size lockers: 58x47.4x84.6 cm – €11.95/day

During the rental period, the user will be able to access belongings at the established 24-hour schedule during all days of the year in which it can be booked online (with the exception of punctual closing due to technical problems).

2. Price

The prices are applicable to each type of locker and indicated on the website on the date of the order. All prices that appear on the website include VAT. Menorca Lockers has the right to modify prices at any time depending on market conditions.

3. Functioning

In Menorca Lockers we have an online reservation method, through the website www.menorcalockers.es where the entire booking process and use of lockers will be made in a simple way. To hire the rental of the lockers, it is necessary:

• Be at least 16 years old.

• Accept these general conditions of contracting and use.

• Accept the privacy policy of Menorca Lockers.

Payment is made securely through a bank card.

4. Modification, Cancellation and Refund of Services

Reservations made through the website can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the reservation date. The refund will be 100% of the amount. To process it, the necessary information must be provided by calling or sending a WhatsApp to the phone number +34 622 174 601,

5. Incident Management

In case of breakdown, blockage or any other type of incident in the use of the locker, the User may contact the Menorca Lockers assistance service by calling or sending a WhatsApp to the telephone number +34 622 174 601

6. User Obligations

The User agrees to use the lockers only as a place of temporary storage of their property, to use them correctly without causing damage, and to comply with all legal regulations and indications established by Menorca Lockers.

It is not allowed to store dangerous, flammable or illegal objects. Menorca Lockers is not responsible for the loss or damage of such objects. Our service has home theft insurance that covers up to €400 and with video surveillance.

7. Consequences and Responsibility of the User in Case of Non-Compliance

In case of non-compliance with the obligations, Menorca Lockers may take measures, including the withdrawal of the stored goods and the imposition of economic penalties. In addition, the User must indemnify Menorca Lockers for any damage caused or for the prolongation of the occupation of the consignment.

7.1. Failure to comply with the mandatory removal of objects from the consignment

In the event that the User does not empty the rented locker(s) on or before the expiration date of the rental, Menorca Lockers will be authorized to access the lockers to remove the stored luggage, in order to free them to allow the use of them by the customers of Menorca Lockers.

If necessary, Menorca Lockers will temporarily store the luggage and will try to contact the User who has failed to comply with the rental term to manage the return of the packages to the User.

After ten days without having been able to contact the User or without the User having contacted Menorca Lockers and without having been able to send him the luggage, it will be understood that the goods have been abandoned by the User for all purposes. If necessary, Menorca Lockers will stop storing them, giving them the outlet it deems appropriate or convenient, depending on the type of abandoned goods.

Unless the User personally collects the luggage, Menorca Lockers will manage the shipment of the packages to the User. The cost of shipping will be assumed 100% by the User. In addition to the cost of the shipment, the User must pay Menorca Lockers, as management costs, € 100 per package sent, in case the shipment must be made within the national territory and € 150 per package sent, in case the shipment must be made outside Spain. The delivery will be understood to be produced from the moment Menorca Lockers delivers the packages to the carrier, Menorca Lockers not assuming any risk for the transport of the packages.

The refund will be made once Menorca Lockers has received payment by the User of the amounts accrued for the delivery of the goods (according to the number of packages and destination) in accordance with the provisions of the previous paragraph. If after 10 calendar days since Menorca Lockers has communicated in writing the amount to be paid, the User has not proceeded to said income, it will be understood that the packages have been abandoned for all purposes by the User, proceeding Menorca Lockers in the terms specified above for the abandoned goods.

8. Obligations of Menorca Lockers

Menorca Lockers undertakes to keep the consignment service in operation and to resolve any incident that arises during the use of the service as soon as possible.

9. Liability and Insurance Limit

Menorca Lockers is not responsible for the custody of stored goods. However, we have insurance that covers losses due to theft up to a maximum amount of €400 per locker, as long as the User meets the requirements and collaborates in the claim to the insurer.

10. Claims

The User may file a complaint by sending an email to info@menorcalockers.es If you are not satisfied with the answer, you may file a claim with the competent authorities.

11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These general conditions are governed by Spanish law, and any controversy will be resolved in the Spanish jurisdiction.

In case of conflict, the parties will submit to the courts of Ciutadella de Menorca, as this is the judicial court of Menorca Lockers, S.L.
